November Weekly Top 10 #2: (Nov. 22 - Nov. 28)

Hey guys! Thanks for checking out the site. Here is the weekly top ten number 2! Be sure to subscribe and comment with any thoughts you have.

10.) Dirtyphonics - I Need Your Love

For those of you who are not familiar with Dirtyphonics, I would definitely recommend checking them out as they have a lot of amazing beats. This one in particular I put in my weekly top 10 simply due to the catchyness of the tune. The vocals are repetitive but the ever changing beat keeps the track unique and always grabs your attention.

9.) Breathe It - I Wanna Talk

An official remix of up-and-coming Dutch band, Breath It, Spag Heddy's official remix of "I Wanna Talk" harnesses the rich acoustic atmosphere of the original tune while bringing to bare Spag Heddy's tremendously explosive production to create something entirely new, and wholly captivating. An exquisite blend of chill vocals and bubbly, high-velocity synth-work will leave the listener staggering in confusion, completely overwhelmed and yet totally satisfied with yet another Spag Heddy banger. A brilliant twist on his usual bombastic production style, Spag Heddy's "I Wanna Talk" remix gives his fans a glimpse into the softer, sensual side of Spag Heddy's composition; quite an insightful spark for the devoted dubstep fanatic!

8.) SKisM - Kick It

A long-awaited collaboration between Never Say Die heavyweights SKisM and Zomboy, "Kick It" is part of the final edition of the much-anticipated "Division" series that has been released over the last year. Combining the viciously filthy tear-out style of Zomboy with a hyper-driven, funky machinations of SKisM, "Kick It" is anything but laid-back or relaxing. A grinding, metallic bass-line is paired with a bubbly, high-octane lead and a series of glitched-out samples that amp up the energy level to an all-time high, a powerful testament to the unparalleled style of these two titans of UK Bass.

7.) Franky Duks - Super Cucaracha

For being a background composer, this dude gets some incredible sounds! This is by far one of my favorite tracks from an indie producer. Amazing dub drops that you would only expect coming from a professional studio. Huge fan of Franky Duks, give him a listen and let me know if you agree!

6.) Feature Cuts - Rage Values

Some SERIOUS heat is forthcoming on Helicopter Showdown's newly formed label Anemnesis, and the boys have decided to give away this long-awaited banger to their fans, absolutely free, EXCLUSIVELY through Dubstep.NET. With massive remixes already scheduled from Kezwik, Dirt Monkey, Diamond Pistols, Protohype, Antiserum and more, we're thrilled to see what Anemnesis is all about, and we certainly won't have to wait much longer! In the mean-time, enjoy "Churched Out" and stay tuned for their debut release on December 3rd!!

5.) Roksonix - Ride With Me

Bringing Circus Records back into the spotlight with their already widely acclaimed "Dogfight" EP, Roksonix demonstrates for all to see the phenomenal level of talent that has gone into this newly re-branded production duo. After winning the Circus Records remix competition for Flux Pavilion's "Voscillate", it's no wonder that this break-neck production duo is signed exclusively with on of the biggest dubstep labels in the world; and "Ride With Me" is a perfect example of their innovative, mind-melting compositions that have earned them a rightful place at the forefront of the Bass Music movement.

4.) Lucky Date vs Calvin Harris - I Want A Flashback

This is an incredible mix. Vocals fit perfectly with the beat giving it an uplifting uptempo trance feel. Some solid wub wub wub in there that everyone loves. If you havn't checked this track out be sure to give it a listen.

3.) R/D - Snow Poem

Released as the free promo track for R/D's new release "Cloud Pound" on Muti Music, "Snow Poem" has the vibrant, atmospheric vibe that we have come to expect from this veteran producer. On the other hand, the sound-design is amped-up several levels to make "Snow Poem" one of the most diverse and energetic tracks present the R/D arsenal; wild yet carefully arranged melodies boggle the senses while subtly manipulated vocal samples sooth the mind and body with a sultry, incredibly pervasive feeling of tranquility. Bubbly leads contrast sharply with soft, radiant pads to create a soundscape that is as sonically rich as it is immersive.

2.) Getter and Mantis - Ravin'

Dark and heavy with a fearsome, metal-influence atmosphere and the brutal, industrial punch Getter & Mantis' "Ravin" is by far one of the most aggressive tracks we've featured in quite a while. Metal-step crossed with filthy, mechanized destruction, both Getter and Mantis' highly recognizable styles shine through in this absolute face-melter of a track, COME GET SOME!

1.) Lyvo - Seaside

Seldom do tracks so perfectly match their title as with this one. If you have the image in your head of a seaside at sunset with a gentle breeze all around you, whether you’re walking, on a motorcycle, or laying in the sand, then you will be in the perfect state of mind to appreciate this gentle gem from Lyvo. It’s deep, heartfelt, and extraordinarily chill. The perfect Sunday morning track. By far, my favorite this week! SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/W47YrE

And with that comes the conclusion of another Top 10 List. Remember to subscribe for weekly top 10 lists full of hit music. Be sure to follow me on soundcloud and I will listen to your tracks and follow back :D Always do. Comment with whatcha think.

Thanksgiving week 2012 Top 10

Hey guys, I have collected a few tracks for you to listen to for a weekly top 10 of new stuff coming out that isn't related to myself. These are all people that I have no relations to and IS NOT MY MATERIAL. But for Thanksgiving week 2012 here is my top 10 list for electronic music with artists of all types of popularity releasing new songs within the week!

10.) I-Wolf- Let It Go

Austrian production duo  Ogris Debris reworks the upcoming single from fellow Austrian multi-talented artist I-Wolf (AKA Wolfgang Schögl) that will be released December 14th on Seayou Records. The single is a predecesor to the upcoming double “Fleshandblood/Skinandbones” which will be released early next year. Their remix takes the track into more of a shuffling house direction and it’s impossible to stand still when that odd handclap based rhythm grabs you.

9.) House of Wallenberg- Katastrof

House Of Wallenberg is the moniker of Swedish producer Peter Wallenberg – after his previous single “legendary” that featured the resurrection of Swedish rap diva Leila K – he returns with a new single “Be My Lover” (which you can listen to and watch over at PSL) + new EP “Legends” (to be released November 23rd) which is a prelude to the release of his debut album with the same name dropping April 2013. On the album he has worked with choice Swedish vocalists such as Efti, Leila K and rapper Mapei along with other guest artists such as Jwl B from Yo Majesty.

8.) BARE- Bass Star

Generously given away for free by SubHuman Warlord of Bass, BARE, "Bass Star" has all the signature hallmarks that this genre-icon is so well-known for. Beastly, hydraulic risers, filthy, mechanical synth-work, and a dark, ominous atmosphere that envelops the listener in a claustrophobic arrangement of sound; Bass Star will leave you staggering in confusion, gasping for breath at the sheer power of this unrivaled monster of bass. A gift for reaching 35k Followers on Facebook, "Bass Star" is a perfect commemoration of this significant BARE milestone!

7.) The Slag & Synchronice- Meteor Shower

Part of the free Play Me Records release of The Slag's multi-part album, the "Big Beat Manifesto", "Meteor Shower" shows The Slag collaborating with up-and-coming producers, Synchonice, and the resulting banger is absolutely staggering. Squelching, bit-crushed bass and airy, deeply-engaging melodies are intertwined with magnificent style and finesse to create a meteoric dance-floor banger of truly stellar magnitude.

6.) Will Sparks & JDG- People Talk

An amazing collab between two great artists. The breaks are absolutely mind blowing and the drops are something you have never heard before. If the catchy vocal beat doesn't get your attention, the mood they set for sure will!

5.) Synclan & Rufio- We Don't Sleep

Brooding melodies and high-pitched squeals come together in a lackadaisical and uplifting track perfectly suited to getting down and dirty on the dance-floor. A true skanker of the funky, bouncy, old-school variety, Synclan & Rufio's "We Don't Sleep" is a exceptional Play Me Records freebie geared for late-night dubstep sets that will have the crowd grimacing in approval at the filthy, funk-infused sound design.

4.) 501- Feel For You

A long-time favorite of the Dubstep.NET Network, 501 is back again, this time with his "Smash" EP on Never Say Die Records. Closing out his year with four beautifully crafted pieces of pure melodic gold, "Smash" is already making waves world-wide as one of Finland's finest flaunts his absolutely immaculate musicianship. Quite possibly our favorite track on the album, "Feel For You" is a 90's sounding anthem that perfectly illustrates 501's jaw-dropping attention to detail, putting some of the finest industry professionals to shame and opening our eyes to astonishing versatility of 501's ever-expanding style.

3.) ill.Gates- The Demon Slayer Pt. 2

Rich and exotic with an extraordinary amount of tension building with every second of the intro, ill.Gates "The Demon Slayer Pt. 2" is chopped and divided with absolutely mind-blowing breaks and vivid, mechanical leads. Alternating between seemingly ordered chaos and anthemic, orchestral interludes, the stark contrast truly brings to mind the ever present conflict between good and evil. Fresh off his new "The Church of Bass" EP released from free through Muti Music, The Demon Slayer brings that conflict to reality, straight into the ears of the listener.

2.) Xception- Starkillers and Bl3nd

Although this song is not yet fully released you will see that it is going to be something quite incredible. The mood set by this is incredible and that is one thing that this group shoots for with every song produced. Give it a listen.

1.) Krewella- Come and Get It

Krewella does an awesome job with their new single. A great combination of drumstep with a trancey feel. If you havn't heard of this group yet, they are definitly something worth looking into! Instantly fell in love with the sound as soon as I heard it!

With that we conclude this weeks top 10! Thanks for listening. Be sure to follow the blog for weekly updates on top 10's. Also comment with any thoughts you have.

Basically this post is going to be an introduction of me and everything I do musically. The main thing is, that I create music purely for fun and do not expect to make it BIG. Im doing this mainly for the learning experience and if something comes from it, so be it!

Yesterday I posted a sample song to my Sound Cloud and Reverb Nation accounts. Im still working on them but let me know whatcha think!!
